In February 2016 my father went in to hospital with a degenerative brain disease. He remained in hospital before being transferred to a nursing home in May of the same year. During the few months that he was there I visited him several times a week. Each day repeating the same journey and steps to his ward. Eventually slight changes in the environment caught my eye like the weather, changes of light, found objects etc. I also noticed little details that had I been there on a once off I might not have noticed. These things became a distraction for the difficult time that I was going through having to watch my father's health and mind deteriorate before my eyes.
Most of the series was shot on my i-phone, it was the most discrete camera I could bring to the hospital.
